POSTAL: Mark the date

On Saturday, May 14 the Letter Carriers Annual Stamp out Hunger Food Drive will take place all over this great nation. The voluntary donations of non-perishable, non-breakable food items that you leave by your mail receptacle will be very much appreciated. Please leave them out early.

Letter Carriers and Volunteers will collect your generous donations and take them directly to the local Food Banks to be distributed locally.

Letter Carriers are community minded to the well being of our family, friends and neighbors.

Many have asked me why this Food Drive takes place on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. This is to complement Mothers who are always giving without asking anything in return.
