Manning to speak to NIC Booster Club
Lisa Manning, a board member with the Human Rights Education Institute (HREI) in Coeur d’Alene, will be the speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon today at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Shore Room. Manning will provide a preview of the public forum ‘Walk The Talk,” featuring James Meredith, the first African American to attend the University of Mississippi during the Civil Rights movement. The forum, presented by HREI, will be hosted by NIC on Oct. 16, at the Schuler Performing Arts Center.
Manning is a consultant in global leadership development and executive coaching with specialties in both cross cultural considerations, as well as succession management and planning. Her consulting firm, Cross Cultural Leadership Consulting Group, serves executive and young leaders in the U.S. and abroad. she is also a licensed mediator in conflict resolution, an adjunct faculty and researcher for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and previously an adjunct faculty at Gonzaga University.
The NIC head coaches will give recaps on games recently completed and provide insight into upcoming games for in-season sports. The special NIC Booster Club lunch menu is $10 or less and the public is welcome to attend the luncheon.
