FACILITIES: Come out and take a look

Assisted living is a critical component of the long-term care continuum. There are nearly 300 assisted living residences in Idaho. These communities care for more than 7,000 Idahoans and pride themselves in caring for all aspects of each, unique resident. That’s why we were excited to celebrate this year’s National Assisted Living Week (taking place Sept. 13-19) theme of “Nourishing Life: Mind, Body and Spirit.”

Whether through social activities, dining experience, exercise classes, or compassionate nursing care, it is our job to ensure residents enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle with as much independence as possible. “Nourishing Life” observes the countless ways we nurture the whole person.

Residents even nourish the lives of those who work and volunteer at each community in addition to nurturing each other. Those we care for truly become family. Many of our residents have made significant contributions to their communities as military heroes, entrepreneurs, public servants, and more. Every day we learn from them and their life experiences.

We invite you to visit a local assisted living facility to learn about the amazing residents and the work that we do.
