PREP FOOTBALL: Gibson, Humphrey lead Lumberjacks in romp

ST. MARIES - Kiefer Gibson completed 6 of 12 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns, including 174 to Hayden Humphrey as the St. Maries Lumberjacks beat the Kellogg Wildcats 55-6 in a nonleague game on Friday.

"As long as we stay healthy, we've got a chance to be really tough," St. Maries coach Craig Tefft said. "I'm happy with how the defense flew around and the offense for putting some points up on the board."

St. Maries (4-0) beat Kellogg (0-4) 38-7 in the Kibbie Dome in Moscow on Aug. 29.

St. Maries hosts Priest River next Friday.
