The local high school football slate gets off to an early start, with Lake City (0-3) playing Shadle Park (1-1) tonight at 7:15 at Albi Stadium in Spokane.

It's Lake City's second game at Albi in 14 days - the Timberwolves lost to Lewis and Clark 35-14 there a couple of weeks ago.

Lake City beat Shadle 57-21 at home last season. Shadle is coming off a 52-0 loss to Richland last week.

Friday's Games

Moses Lake (1-1) at Coeur d'Alene (2-1): The Vikings are averaging 38.5 points in their last two games. Coeur d'Alene won 41-21 at Moses Lake last year. Moses Lake lost 21-17 to Southridge of Kennewick, Wash., and beat Lewis and Clark 20-17.

Lakeland (0-3) at Cheney (2-0): Cheney owns wins over Colville (28-0) and Deer Park (13-7).

Kellogg (0-3) at St. Maries (3-0): St. Maries rolled to a 38-7 win over Kellogg three weeks ago at the Kibbie Dome, a game moved from Kellogg due to poor air quality from area wildfires.
