Brenda Joyce Longtin, 68

Brenda Joyce Longtin, 68, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, from cardiac arrest. She was born in Scottsboro, Ala., on April 28, 1947. She lived in Scottsboro, Hammond, Ind., and then Phoenix, Ariz., where she married Kenneth Longtin on April 19, 1968. They moved to Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls, Idaho, where they have lived since 1997.

Brenda worked in the Peoria School District in Glendale, Ariz., and Coeur d'Alene School District No. 271 until retiring.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her husband, Kenneth Longtin of 48+ years; her son, Robert Longtin in Phoenix and grandson Matthew McPeek of Post Falls, Idaho, with his grandfather. She will be missed beyond what words can say by all that knew and loved her.
