PRIEST RIVER - Rowers from around the region are invited to take part in The Head of the Pend Oreille Regatta as it celebrates its fifth year, welcoming rowers from around the Inland Northwest, central Washington and British Columbia.
The Regatta will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a start time of 10 am. Competitors will race the 5K course from Thama Shores on the Pend Oreille River to the finish line at the West Bonner Park in Priest River.
Spectators can also join the rowers at a barbecue starting at 5 p.m. on Friday night, with a Row-by, which is unique to the event, taking place at 5:30 p.m. Participants will row by the Yacht Club as individual crews.
