TWIN LAKES - Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho recently announced the gifting of a three-bedroom, two-bath condo located in Twin Lakes Village.

The nearly 1,500-square-foot condo on the Twin Lakes Village Golf Course was donated this week by Kent and Kathleen McArthur to benefit the local Habitat for Humanity program. Local Habitat staff and volunteers plan to totally renovate the unit during the winter and then sell it next year in order to purchase building lots for more Habitat homes.

Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho is just starting construction of its 40th home in Kootenai County. Since 1989, the mission of Habitat has been to build simple, decent, affordable energy-efficient houses for low- to moderate-income families in Kootenai County.
