| September 11, 2015 9:00 PM

* BOYS

MOSCOW - They had to hold on late, but the Lakeland Hawks did just enough to get the job done on the trip south on Thursday afternoon.

Cody Callahan and Uho Reiman scored goals in the first half, then Seth Galbreath added another in the second, and the Hawks held off the Moscow Bears 3-2 in a 4A Inland Empire League match at Moscow Junior High.

"We did a good job and played really well," Lakeland coach Andrew Craig said. "It took us a few minutes to get settled and get into our rythmn, but once we did and got settled in, we played really well. We kind of lapsed a bit in the second half and they were able to get their goals, but we changed our formation and were able to hang on. It was nice compared to the match against Sandpoint (a 4-4 draw on Tuesday in Rathdrum) and we were able to play the full 80 minutes, which was nice to see."

Lakeland (3-2-2, 1-0-1 4A IEL) hosts Northwest Christian on Tuesday.

First half - 1, LL, Cody Callahan (Brett Roth), 20:00. 2, LL, Uho Reiman (unassisted), 31:00. Second half - 3, LL, Seth Galbreath (Reiman), 55:00. 4, Mos, Joey Uhers (unassisted), 60:00. 5, Mos, own goal, 70:00.
