Jobs Plus welcomes new board members
Jobs Plus-Coeur d'Alene Area Economic Development Corp. announced Chris Meyer and Anne Hagman as its two newest board members.
Meyer is a partner at Parkwood Business Properties and Hagman is the North Idaho Business Development Officer at Idaho Central Credit Union.
Meyer has an MBA from the Foster School of Business and a Master's in Urban Planning from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, both degrees are from the University of Washington. He also serves as vice president of the Coeur d'Alene Education Partnership, secretary of the Hayden Lake Watershed Association, and sits on the Urban Land Institute Idaho District Council Advisory Board.
Hagman has a master's degree in organizational development from Gonzaga University. She is involved with the Human Resource Network of North Idaho, the American Cancer Society of Kootenai County, EXCEL Foundation, and is part of the Coeur d'Alene Chamber Business Development Committee and Executive Committee. In 2008 she received the Ed Abbott Volunteer of the Year award.

Jobs Plus-Coeur d'Alene Area Economic Development Corporation is a nonprofit economic development corporation formed in 1987 with a mission "to expand and diversify the economic and employment base of Kootenai County, while maintaining the quality of life that has become synonymous with Kootenai County." Its strategy is "To recruit companies to our area that sell on a national basis, are not location dependent, offer strong wages and benefits to their employees, and are respectful of our environmental concerns."
