Don't blame mankind for world's weather events

In 1972, I was taught in my first year of college, in both Astronomy and Geology, that the universe we inhabit was born sometime, four to six billion years ago. In 2010 at the J. Paul Getty Museum in L.A., Calif., I saw, embossed on a most impressive curving wall the quote, "our universe came about between six and eight billion years ago." On a Monday just this past August 2015, I listened to a popular radio personality, talk about the "fact" our universe was "born" 30 to 40 billion years ago... So, in the past 40 some odd years, the timing of the "Big Bang" has leaped backward by 25 to 35 billion years...really...billions?

In 1979, Time magazine warned us all, that we are on the verge of another, "Ice Age" caused by the unbridled consumption of the industrialized Western world.

For the last 25-30 years of my adult life, it has been "Global Warming." That term has now morphed into, "Climate Change." It's very important for all of us to understand that "Global Warming" and "Climate Change" specifically mean, white western civilization with its polluting corporations and C02 emitting coal fired power plants and gas guzzling trucks and SUVs are, and have been causing, dramatic changes in the global weather system. We, us regular Americans, are the cause of melting the ice caps and glaciers, causing the rise of the oceans, destroying millions of species, and will ultimately kill most of humanity... unless we, turn over all of the exploration, extraction, storage and distribution, of petroleum energy to them. In fact, they need to be in charge of and "Invest in" all forms of energy production and distribution...the "New World Order" will forever protect our fragile "Ecosystem" from the ravages of the white-western capitalistic consumers.

Any major weather related tragedy that befalls mankind anywhere in the world from the last decade or two till now, has been blamed on, capitalism and the use of petroleum energy. Today, the drought in California, the major wildfires in Washington, Idaho, California...seemingly everywhere in the West are all because of wanton Capitalism and climate change deniers. Nearly anyone who drives an SUV and voted "R" and is pro-life and believes God is in control of this globe is actively promoting global destruction.

Do those of you who honestly believe all of that, actually think by paying higher taxes on our activities, by recycling our plastic and paper, by shutting the faucet off while brushing our teeth, by turning over more of our $, our freedoms and our mobility; this is going to save our planet? Do you feel, either superior to, angry at, or sorry for, the ignorant conservatives out there that have not seen your light? (By the way I'm already forced to pay those taxes and I recycle and don't waste water...because those things make common logical sense, not because I love Gaea-earth, or believe Al Gore.)

Where is this all going? I see an existence where, the former middle and lower classes are taken care of with iPhones, big sporting events and reality TV, and...fast, but government approved healthy food, purchased with their EBT cards. The elites will control all else. No more middle class with the ability to achieve. No more America as it was conceived and built, not the one I grew up in.

Families are unnecessary...the "Village" will take care. Many believe this America I grew up in is, and has been a fraud. It needs to be brought to it's knees. Americans, white ones especially, have enjoyed way too much freedom and..."privilege."

The new, more fair, less dependent on a document called the "Constitution" (written by rich white slave-owners) government, will determine, where you will live, how much money you will make, how many children you may have. "They" will determine what parts of our world you may visit and when, and will compute your, "carbon footprint" while you simply live your life. Is this truly what you want? We are all...en-route.

I'm in my 62nd year. I don't want my grandkids to live in such a world. I believe many of the, "capitalist-white-rich-westerner-Gaea-earth-killing-climate-change-deniers" are just plain American folks out there like me. They have businesses, jobs, families and friends. Many are retired. They look at the sky and go indoors when it's wet and cold. They enjoy outdoors when it's beautiful. They give no credence to the remote possibility, based on computer models, that their life style, OK...magnified by 300-400 million here in North America, and at least another billion more folks in emerging countries, with capitalistic style economies, can or are, destroying this planet.

They ask when pressed, "Haven't there been ice ages, and warm eras, and massive floods, and enormous meteor strikes, and tectonic continental collisions, and polar magnetic shifts. Haven't there been major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and raging fires that dwarf anything modern science has seen or measured...die-offs of ancient animals...long before America came about...long before the internal combustion engine? How in the heck can hair spray, air conditioning and burning gas in my 4x4 pick-up, and barbecuing burgers on Sunday afternoon have a thing to do with hurricanes and twisters and droughts tomorrow or in 30 years...for goodness sakes most of the time the weather forecast I hear on TV and read in the paper for next week is inaccurate!" (These questions show enormous ignorance by the way, to educated believing elites.) We simply don't understand the incredible computer models major universities and NASA and other elite institutions have created with major $ grants from those who desire to lead us, toward the "Inconvenient Truth." We don't understand how the growing ice in the Antarctic along with receding ice in the Arctic are caused by us. But "They" know, just like they know how to simply tack on a few more billion years to the original Big Bang.

"Oh, I see, if I agree to another tax and another prohibition of choices and freedoms, then my great grand-children won't die from the ocean rising 15 feet? I see, if I conform to "consensus" science and what's hip in modern American pop culture, the, 'educated globalist elites,' will execute a comprehensive, sustainable, progressive plan that will save us all from our capitalistic over-consuming selves?"

It is the epitome of arrogance to believe that anything we do can either cause or delay or stop from happening, a single weather event on the face of this earth.

I can hear you now...cloud seeding and "Chem-trails." There is not a thing modern man can do to make the sun send out huge solar flares or not. Not a single thing we can do to encourage or discourage, an El Nino or La Nina developing in any ocean system on our planet. No way to control a meteor. Certainly there is not a group of men and women who can promise all the inhabitants of this planet, if we will simply give our freedoms and futures to them, they can and will control...nature!
