Glenn W. Kunow, 55

| September 9, 2015 9:00 PM

Glenn passed away in Post Falls, at home on Aug. 31, 2015. He was born in Long Island, N.Y., on March 7, 1960, to Gilbert and Grace (Sniffin) Kunow.

Glenn and his family moved to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1963. His early years were spent in the desert where he learned how to ride the family's horses and joined the 4-H club. He also became an excellent marksman. Glenn loved to hunt and fish.

He graduated from Paradise Valley High School in 1978. He met his wife of more than 26 years, Dawn Meredith Hammer, through his business. He was a multi-line insurance agent at the family owned insurance agency in Prescott, Ariz. Dawn was his claims representative. Although they never had any children, that seemed to make them that much more dedicated to each other.

He was a worthy opponent in anything from ping pong, darts, pool and especially scrabble. Glenn made the best tacos this side of the Mississippi. He loved his life.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; mother Grace Kunow; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert; his brother, Gary A. Kunow and sister Gail B. Boshed.
