Cd'A Social Security office moving to Mineral Drive

The Coeur d'Alene Social Security Office is moving from Wallace Street to a new location. Beginning Monday, the full range of Social Security services will be offered at 7400 N. Mineral Drive, Suite 100. The new location is about 5 miles north of the agency's current location.

To get to the new office:

From I-90 westbound: Take U.S. 95 Exit 12 toward Sandpoint/Moscow. Turn right onto U.S. 95. Drive for 2.6 miles and turn left onto W. Wilbur Avenue and then turn right onto North Mineral Drive.

From I-90 eastbound: Take U.S. 95 Exit 12 toward Sandpoint/Moscow. Turn left onto U.S. 95 North /Lincoln Way and continue to follow U.S. 95 North. Drive for 2.6 miles and turn left onto W. Wilbur Avenue and then turn right onto North Mineral Drive.

Parking is available.

The office is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.; and on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until noon except on federal holidays.

The current location at 623 E. Wallace Street will be open through Friday, Sept. 11.
