HARRISON FLATS - Running back Riley Harlow carried the ball 16 times for 83 yards and a touchdown, but Kootenai's pass defense struggled a bit in a season-opening loss to Clark Fork.

"It was a fairly well-matched game," Warriors coach Doug Napierala said. "We just had some errors. We jumped on the two long passes and gambled on the interceptions and missed, and they scored on them for touchdowns. We were able to move the ball, but weren't able to cash it in. We stalled out on a lot of our drives and we've got to just sustain a little better."
