Frank Zuti, 86

| September 5, 2015 9:00 PM

Frank Zuti, 86, passed away at the Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Aug. 17, 2015.

He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Frank and Julia (Toth) Zuti.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, of 58 years in 2013.

He is survived by his daughters, Chris Zuti Keller (Joe), Sandra Zuti Minor, and his son, F. Brian (Sylvia) Zuti; six grandchildren Jason Keller, Jamie Keller Luttrell, Aaron Minor, Joshua Minor, Trevor Zuti and Alexa Zuti; five great-granddaughters Madelyn, Megan, Jema, Nixie and Cora; and a brother, Bob Zuti.

Dad and Mom married in 1955 in Youngstown, Ohio, and then moved the family to California in 1963. After retiring from Magnetic Analysis Corporation, they moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1996. They were fortunate to be able to make many trips in their motor home, often taking their grandchildren with them.

While still in California Dad became involved with the Pathfinder Club and was proud of everything he was able to pass on and teach the kids, from crafting and camping to building Tee-Pees. Dad always had a story to tell and loved to tease, he was always tinkering with a gadget of some kind, making it as noisy and colorful as possible, and Dad was so proud of his collection of roosters. See you later Dad, we love you.

A small gathering to celebrate his life for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements. Please visit Frank's online memorial and sign his guestbook at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
