Recently a dedicated and hardworking employee from Habitat ReStore was fired. Renee put her heart and soul into her job. There wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do. One time she climbed a ladder in spite of having a fear of heights.
Idaho is a Right to Work state so she was fired with no explanation. The customers and the staff are all left wondering what happened.
Habitat for Humanities is a nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles. Those same principles should extend to the right of the worker and the responsibilities of the organization. Habitat is a great place to work. We all feel like family and deserve to be treated as such. This just isn’t right.
