| September 4, 2015 9:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE - Everyone has an opportunity to end the busy summer season on a high note in Coeur d'Alene.

The Coeur d'Alene Symphony will hold its free Labor Day Concert in the Park on Monday.

The annual tradition turns the downtown park into an open-air concert hall for music lovers, beachgoers or anyone else who happens to be strolling by.

Or bring a lawn chair, picnic lunch and make a day of it. The concert begins at 1 p.m. and runs about two hours at Coeur d'Alene City Park's Rotary Bandshell.

The concert attracts hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people.

This year's concert will feature music from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Holst's "Jupiter" from "The Planets" and more.
