Labor Day holiday affects Post Falls services

POST FALLS - Post Falls City Hall will be closed on Labor Day and most city services will be unavailable until Tuesday next week.

Police, fire and rescue services for life-threatening or in-progress emergencies will be available however by calling 911. The Police Department will also be open for walk-in emergencies.

For Water Department emergencies, call 773-3517.

There will be no trash pickup on Labor Day. Following the Labor Day holiday, trash pickup will fall one day late and return to normal pickup schedule on the following Monday.

Fundraiser set for community center

The Blue Wolf Community Center will hold its annual Big Sale and Fundraiser at its new hall, 4479 S. Blue Creek Road.

The event was formerly held at Harding Family Center. The sale will include items like furniture, crafts, clothing, toys, home decor, tools and garden supplies. The sale will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11 and 12; and noon till 4 p.m. Sept. 13. For more information visit www.bluewolfcc.org.
