NIBCA announces Parade of Homes winners

COEUR d'ALENE - The North Idaho Building Contractors Association announced the winners of the 2015 Parade of Homes following their Night of Awards event on August 14.

Fourteen different NIBCA member builders entered 21 homes from Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hauser Lake and Hayden Lake in the Parade of Homes. The homes were judged by building industry professionals from various sectors in and around the Coeur d'Alene area.

Homes were divided into price range categories for judging, and came in a wide variety of styles.

Winning homes in the Classic category:

* Best Landscaping, Master Suite, Kitchen and Craftsmanship: Springfield, by Greenstone Homes

* Best Architectural Appeal: The Mahogany, by Northwestern Builders Corp.

Winning homes in the Premier category:

* Best Architectural Appeal, Landscaping, Master Suite and Kitchen: Northview, by Aspen Homes & Development

* Best Craftsmanship: The Hermosa, by Eagle Ridge Builders

Winning homes in the Executive category:

* Best Architectural Appeal, Landscaping and Kitchen: The Carlton, by Monogram Homes

* Best Master Suite and Craftsmanship: The LifeStyler, by ActiveWest Builders

Winning home in the Elite category:

* Best Architectural Appeal, Landscaping, Kitchen and Craftsmanship: The Meadow View, by Monarch Development

* Best Master Suite: Tied by The Meadow View and The McKinley, by Rosenberger Construction

Three homes also received Awards of Distinction:

* Urban Ease: The CareFree, by ActiveWest Builders

* Luxury Home: The Brittany, by Aspen Homes & Development

* Dream Home: Brewer Ridge, by Creekside Construction.

Brewer Ridge also won the 2015 People's Choice award.

For working with the most NIBCA member subcontractors on the Sheltered Pines subdivision, Timbered Ridge Homes won the Hand-in-Hand award.

Organizers said that attendance at the 2015 Parade of Homes was the best in recent history, with more than 2,600 tickets sold. They thanked their sponsors and the many NIBCA member volunteers who contributed to creating this event where the community could view the work of local construction industry professionals.
