DEER: A better (and cheaper) solution

Thank you Jamie Smith for your My Turn column in The Press dated Sept. 1.

Ten deer in one year, trapped, suffering from Capture Myopathy and relocated only to have them die a slow death later on…WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND came up with this idea? And now $10,000 being allocated for 2016 to continue this program is insanity. What part of failure don’t you understand?

How much does a bullet cost? Set a limit on the number of deer that need to be eliminated. Designate the meat to our local food banks. Problem over.
