Jacqueline Ellen Krause, 71
Jacqueline Ellen Krause, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Aug. 23, 2015.
Jacqueline was born in Grants Pass, Ore., on Dec. 1, 1943. Jacqueline spent nearly all of her life in Oregon (mostly in Canyonville and Myrtle Creek). Eventually she moved to Idaho, where she lived in the Silver Valley for a few years, but finally settled in Coeur d'Alene.
She loved being outdoors, especially fishing; but she also enjoyed being indoors cuddled up with a good book.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Tom McFadden Jr. of Coeur d'Alene; her mother, Darlene Gross of Canyonville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim and Kris Gross of Canyonville, and Gale and Lorraine Gross of Canyonville; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law: Barbara and Todd Smith of Atlanta, Ga., and Anna and Shawn Lindsey of Wilmington, N.C.; as well as several great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacqueline also leaves behind her loving companion of 11 years, Jim "Jerky Jim" Gaboury of Dalton Gardens, Idaho.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Krause, in 2002; and her father, Reed James Gross Sr.
