SPOKANE — North Idaho College had two key misssed opportunities toward the tail end of a Northwest Athletic Conference game, losing 2-1 to the Spokane Sasquatch at Spokane Falls Community College on Wednesday.

NIC (5-9-4, 3-7-4) concludes the season at Wenatchee Valley on Saturday.

Spokane is 10-4-4, 8-3-3, 27 points.

SPOKANE— Jessica Scott opened the scoring on an assist from Katelyn Sly to give the Cardinals a halftime lead, but a late goal from the Sasquatch gave them the Northwest Athletic Conference win, clinching the Eastern Division title.

NIC (9-5-2, 7-3-1 22 points) concludes the regular season at Wenatchee Valley on Saturday.

Spokane is 12-2-1, 9-2-0, 27 points.
