Ramona (Mona) Lulu Crause, 55
Ramona (Mona) Lulu Crause, 55, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 17, 2015, in Russelville, Ark., while on a road trip. Mona was born Sept. 3, 1960, in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, to Eugene Eckerson and Wilma Jahto (Oma).
She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon Crause of Post Falls; and her four children, daughter Stacy Crause and husband Henry Jara Sr., son Ted Crause, 19-year-old daughter Katlyn Kay Eckerson and 19-year-old son Daniel Crause; and two grandchildren she loved very much, Kameryn T. Jara and Henry J. Jara Jr.
It’s a sorrowful thing to have lost someone so young with so much love left to offer. Growing up on a farm in Germany, Mona is truly a self-taught all-American. Mona not only had a talent but a passion for plants… and as anyone could see with animals.
It has been said by family friends that it must be spoken that anyone that has been around Mona for more than just a few minutes would know Mona gave more of herself and her time than she ever expected to receive by opening her home and her heart to ANYONE in need.
A memorial service will be held by Pastor Seth Hohenstreet at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at the Zion Baptist Church, 1527 E. 16 Ave., Post Falls and a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers per Mona’s request, please send donations to Zion Baptist Church Building and Missionary funds.
Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements. Please visit Mona’s online memorial and sign her guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
