Kathy (Schlepp) Tuttle, 61
May 10, 1954 - Sept. 28, 2015
Kathy passed away surrounded by her family at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash., after a car accident Sept. 25, 2015. She was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to parents Al and Polly Schlepp.
Kathy grew up in Hayden Lake, Idaho, where she was one of five children. After graduating from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1973, she met her husband of 41 years, Tom Tuttle. Tom and Kathy settled in Seattle, Wash., and raised their two children. Kathy owned and operated Kathy’s Northern European Auto Repair, where she looked forward to seeing her repeat customers as much as they looked forward to seeing her.
Kathy had many hobbies she was a self-taught artist, loved scrapbooking, gardening, she really excelled at elaborate cake making. She loved researching family history and she shared her great talent of making sand castles with her grandchildren. She was very active in her church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter Amy; son Jeremy; grandchildren Cassius and Antaya, Audrianna and A.J.; mother Polly; twin sister Donna; younger sister Michelle (Dave); younger brothers Steven (Pam) and Ron; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Al and granddaughter Audry.
As our family heads into the holiday seasons, Kathy’s magic touch of bringing the holidays to life will be deeply missed and remembered by all of us.
