Joyce Marie Lutey, 79

Joyce Marie Lutey, 79, of Newman Lake, Wash., peacefully went to heaven on Oct. 22, 2015, at the Hospice House in Spokane, Wash.; where she was surrounded by family. Joyce was born in Helena, Mont., to Lloyd and Belva (Fisk) Jensen.

She graduated from Helena High and married William S. Lutey in 1954; they were married for nearly 51 years. During their life together, they lived in Helena, Medford, Ore., Spokane and Post Falls, Idaho.

She is survived by three sons Mark Lutey of Otis Orchards, Wash., Mike Lutey of Portland, Ore., and Trent Lutey of Spokane; and two daughters Laurie Baker of Newman Lake, and Robin Gunn of Spokane Valley, Wash. She also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce will be remembered as a Godly woman with a joyful heart, who lived her faith. Her mission was always to make a positive difference in the lives of others. She loved her family deeply and prayed for them continually. She did all this with a terrific sense of humor and a smile on her face. We will all miss her dearly.
