David J. 'Chicago Dave' Spelick, 59

David J. “Chicago Dave” Spelick passed away Oct. 19, 2015, at Kootenai Health. David was born on Feb. 17, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., to Daniel and Carol Spelick.

He moved to Hayden 20 years ago to be near family.

David is survived by his two sisters, Eileen Westerberg (Richard) and Kathleen Harsky (Mike); two nieces Michelle Ahnen (Mike) and Marie Westerberg; one nephew Guy Spelick (Katie); one great-nephew Eli Spelick; and many friends. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Dave was a machinist by trade, and he greatly enjoyed his time working at Northwest Swiss. His hobbies included music and riding his motorized bicycle.

There will be no service at his request. Arrangements by Yates Funeral Home.
