We’ll save the details until the openings are closer, but since new food-beverage places provide the most popular reading, we’ll start this week’s focus there.

A building permit recently was granted to Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene for a 6,125-square-foot structure on the pond on Riverstone Avenue just north of Bardenay.

Serving lunch and dinner, Anthony’s will seat 150 customers inside and 150 outside on a seasonal deck. It will employ about 80 people and should open in June. Check www.anthonys.com.

Strada Cafe, Italian for “street coffee,” should open about Nov. 1 at 1830 N. Third St. (the former Oil Can Henry’s building). It will offer the “perfect cup of coffee,” pastries and baked goods.

What had been the Chinese Gardens restaurant at 310 N. Fourth St. for 42 years will become The China Inn in late November. It will offer traditional Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner. New owners are Wen Luo and Qin Li.

Again: Details on these later.

n Many people have said the McEuen Park playground really needs a surrounding fence. Watching a kid is difficult and more so if one person has more than one kid.

- “Same exact” is redundant.
