PREP GIRLS SOCCER: Hawks advance in Region 1 tourney

RATHDRUM — Harley Hendry scored twice and Sofie Schnepf added two assists and the Lakeland Hawks beat the Moscow Bear 3-0 in the 4A Region 1 loser-out game on Monday.

Morgan Cline also scored for the Hawks (6-6-3), who move on to face No. 1 seed and host Sandpoint in the championship game on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Prather Field, with the winner advancing to the state tournament.
