SPIDERS: All about that hobo

| October 11, 2015 9:00 PM

I have followed Elaine Cerny’s “My Garden Path” for a long time. Until her latest column about hobo spiders. I don’t know where she gets her information.

Hobo spiders are very aggressive and will come after you. They certainly don’t run from you. Ask some people who have scars or landed in the hospital from being bitten.

I have several hobo traps in my garage (available at Home Depot). We looked at them and there were at least 12 hobo spiders. They are sticky pads; once they get on it they can’t get off. In the winter they come in to get warm, so you’d better make a trip to Home Depot.

And Elaine Cerny: Get your facts straight.
