LETTER: Get into 'real world'

In response to a letter of Oct. 2 written by Sandra Boynton, I feel you are not in the world of today and its happening. You need to get out of the world of Rathdrum and take a good look at the world you and I live in!

Take a good look at the unemployment facts and figures of this country. Take a look and find out how many are unemployed at this time. Find out how may are now on food stamps, now! Check the real figures of the lost homes during the Obama reign.

Check out where we stand now in the world of power in the Middle East. Thanks to Obama most of our allies have lost faith in us, do not respect us, no longer trust us for any kind of help in the violent world of radical world of Muslims.

We can give thanks to all, Congress, the Senate, the House of Representatives, and most of all, our wonderful president Obama, Hillary Clinton, and don’t leave out our block-headed Secretary of State John Kerry.

My only hope is that the first nuclear missile from Iran doesn’t land where you choose to walk and ride your bike in Rathdrum.
