SHOOTINGS: You can't fix stupid
Doesn’t this just paint a picture of the problem? According to Fox, Lt. Col. Ben Garrett, an Army spokesman, said Mercer was in the service at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, starting on Nov. 5, 2008. But by Dec. 11, 2008, he was discharged for failing to meet the minimum administrative standards. What this means is he couldn’t pass the Army’s screening, including physical and mental health, and the ability to score reasonably on math and reading comprehension, and mind you “multiple-choice” answers.
The problem as I see it relates to the high number of low IQ idiots who couldn’t even pass a driver’s test being able to go to Wal-Mart and buy weapons, and more importantly ammunition. If you can’t pass a basic competency test and mental evaluation, you shouldn’t be able to buy either one.
I’d be willing to wager that there are a lot of gun-crazed fanatics who, like this clod-hopper, wouldn’t pass either. In fact, I am certain because I see them at the Hayden Creek every time I go to shoot.
