Brett Warren Hart, 57

In loving memory of Brett Warren Hart, born on June 22, 1958, passed away at home where he wanted and needed to be on Oct. 4, 2015, at 10:35 p.m. at the age of 57.

Brett has been fighting against cancer over the last year. I have never seen anyone put up such a courageous fight so he could stay here and take care of all of us. Brett enjoyed computer gaming and fly fishing.

We will not be having a conventional service as family and friends are spread around the country. We are going to take him fly fishing one more time and his family and friends will be lighting a candle and saying the same prayer for him at the same time. He would have loved that.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Shelley VanderZanden; and his daughters, Destiny Cooper and Brandy VanderZanden. He had four grandchildren — Dayton Cooper, Kinzie Cooper, Kalealah Coleman and William Coleman; and his two sisters, Laurie Hill and Tracy Hart-Cooper.
