KC Dems Club to host candidate debate Friday

The Kootenai Democratic Club announced it will moderate a debate for the Coeur d Alene City Council Elections for Seats 1 and 5. The debate will begin at noon, Friday,  at the Iron Horse on Sherman Avenue.

The Democratic club has been meeting at the Iron Horse for 41 years and hosting nonpartisan city debates for decades. Tamara Lee Poelstra will be moderating this debate. She has moderated over six debates for the club. "I am excited to be leading this discussion and look forward to the conversations." explained Tamara. "There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions so it could be very interesting."

The club has always had an open door policy so anyone is welcome to attend the meetings which begin at noon and last a hour.
