Coeur d’Alene Sting under-12 girls: The Sting lost 5-0 to the Sandpoint Strikers in Northwest League play.

Sting U14 girls: The Sting tied the Spokane Foxes 1-1 on Saturday. Zoe Cox scored the lone goal for the Sting.
On Sunday, the Sting beat FC Spokane 2-0. Julieanna Stith and Madyson Smith each scored once in the win.

Sting U11 boys White: On Saturday the Sting played a doubleheader against Moses Lake’s Endeavor Soccer Academy. Both games ended in 3-2 victories for the Sting. In the first game, Landon Lee scored two goals, Nate Wyatt one, and Nate Wyatt and Andon Brandt each had assists. In Game 2, Isaac Fritts scored two goals, Nate Wyatt one.

Academy under-11 girls: The Academy beat the Breakers 4-1 last weekend. Nicole Adams scored a hat trick, Jenna Chase and Rebekah Hines each scored twice, Acaja Lyn Scott once. Maia Keith, Nicole Adams and Rebekah Hines each had assists.
The Academy beat the Valley Thunder 7-0 on Sept. 19. Jenna Chase scored three goals, and Nicole Adams, Oliva Azzollini, Jasmine Crothers and Maia Keith each scored once. Jenna Chase had two assists, and Rebekah Hines and Maia Keith had one each. Acaja Lyn Scott notched the shutout in goal.
On Sept. 27, the Academy beat the IEYSA Valor 7-3. Nicole Adams scored a hat trick, and Kionna Heston, Rebekah Hines and Jenna Chase each scored once. Rebekah Hines had two assists, and Maia Keith and Jillian Kate Scott had one each.

Academy U13 girls: The Academy beat the Valor James 6-0 last weekend. Kaylee Moate scored twice, and Dillen Duncan, Sarah Hines, Jade Reed and Kendall Pickford each scored once. Sarah Hines had an assist.

Academy U12 boys: The Academy beat the Idaho Thunder 3-0 on Sept. 28. Braden Ferreira scored two goals, Trenton Fulkerson one in the win.

Academy U14 girls: The Academy beat the IEYSA Valor Stern 1-0 on Sept. 27. Dillen Duncan scored the game’s lone goal.

Academy U13 boys: The Academy tied the Sting 3-3. Braden Ferreira scored two goals, Cody Carvajal one for the Cads. Ethan Lawson had an assist.
The Academy beat the Wenatchee Valley 6-2. Cody Carvajal and Ethan Lawson each scored twice, and Alex Moate and Kobe Miller each scored once. Lars Horning, Kobe Miller, Devin Claflin and Ethan Lawson each had assists.
The Academy beat the Spokane Pumas 3-0. Devin Claflin, Alex Moate and Braden Ferreira each scored once, and Andrew Ferreira had an assist.

Academy U9 girls: The Academy tied FC Spokane 2-2. Kennedy Hartzell and Marissa Higbee each scored once for the Academy.
The Academy beat the Spokane Foxes 3-0, on goals by Macy Walters, Isabel Morisette and Addyson Chase. Emily Shafer posted the shutout in goal.

On Sept. 25, the Sting lost 3-1 to the SSC Shadow-Sande. Talon Mitchell scored the lone Sting goal.
On Sept. 26, the Sting beat the SSC Shadow-Sande 7-3. Talon Mitchell, Caeden Vincent, Sean Dremann, Christopher Makovec, Cooper Larson, Joseph Sarkis and Brighton Spencer each scored for the Sting.

Sting U14 boys Valencia: The Sting Valencia beat the RSA Elite 8-0 on Sept. 12. Cameron Dance scored five goals, and Sam Anderson, Gavin Mcluskie and Cameron Calabretto each scored once, with assists by Kyler Sorensen, Tyler Shaw and Drake Prohaska. Jacob Overoye had eight saves in posting the shutout in goal.
On Sept. 26, the Sting Valencia tied CWSA B01 Grey Cuevas 1-1. McKie Gregory scored for the Sting, with the assist by Sam Anderson. Jacob Overoye had five saves.
On Sept. 27, the Sting Valencia defeated Cobra Aguillatas 2-1. Cameron Dance and Tyler Shaw scored for the Sting, and Jacob Overoye had four saves.

Sting U10 boys Southampton: The Sting tied the Sandpoint Strikers 2-2 on Saturday in Hayden. Boston Spear and Gunner Larson scored for the Sting, and Benjamin Linford had an assist.
Later that day, the Sting lost 4-3 to Three Rivers White at Hayden Meadows. Gavin Samayoa scored two goals, and Boston Spear had a goal an assist.

Sting U13 boys Arsenal: The Sting clawed back from a three-goal deficit to earn a 3-3 tie against The Academy on Saturday at Coeur d’Alene High. Christopher Swider scored two goals and Jackson Henkle scored once.

Sting U12 girls gold: The Sting beat the IEYSA Valor G03 Cargile-Zernick team 9-0 on Saturday at Mt. Spokane in PSPL league play. Isabella Lucky scored two goals, and Holly Hudson, Amy Corette, Amber Aittama, Sophia Allan, Olivia Wyatt, Isabella Henkel and Cooper Horton each scored once. Danika Nowak had the shutout in goal.
The Sting then beat Endeavor Soccer Academy Wallace G03 out of Moses Lake 8-0 at Canfield Soccer Complex on Sunday. Gaby Roberts and Isabella Lucky each scored hat tricks, and Amber Aittama and Olivia Wyatt each scored once. Danika Nowak had the shutout in goal.

Sting U13 girls: The Sting played the U14 SSC Shadow Elite Cooper to a scoreless tie on Saturday, and lost to the U14 Cheney Storm 3-0 on Sunday 0-3.
Sting U11 boys Yellow: The Sting defeated the IEYSA Scotties BO4 Kenlein 4-0. Jack Meehan scored two goals with assists from Caden Thompson; Caden Thompson scored 1 with and assist from Cooper Prohaska; and Byron Anderson scored once. Alexander Nipp had 19 saves in the shutout in goal.

Sting U10 boys Juventus: The Sting defeated the Sandpoint Strikers Dooley/Smart 4-3 on Saturday. Connor Jump had 2 goals, Ronan Sternberg and Trenton Anderson one each.
Juventus lost 4-3 to 3 Rivers BU10 Green. Connor Jump had 2 goals, Ronan Sternberg 1 for the Sting.

Sting U10 girls Reign: The Sting lost 2-1 to 3 Rivers Black of the Tri-Cities on Saturday.

Sting U10 girls Spirit: The Sting beat the Spokane Foxes 7-1. Avery Waddington scored a hat trick, Lauren Bengtson scored two goals, and Ella Morton and Gabrielle Henkle each scored once. Cassidy Bennet had three saves in goal.
The Sting beat 3 Rivers Green 4-1. Avery Waddington scored twice and Taylor Miller and Kelsey Carroll both scored once.Emily Medina and Gabrielle Henkle both had assists.
On Sunday the Sting lost 2-0 to the Spokane FC Gold.

Sting U9 boys Messi: The Sting tied Washington East SC Hamer-Beznaiguila 3-3. Max Cervi-Skinner, Zach Cervi-Skinner and Rylan Brandt each scored once for Messi.
The Sting Messi beat the Idaho Thunder 6-0. Zach Cervi-Skinner scored a hat trick, Rylan Brandt had two goals, Max Cervi-Skinner one.

Sting U9 boys Ronaldo: The Sting beat 3 Rivers 4-3. Zach Cervi-Skinner had two goals for the Sting, and Max Cervi-Skinner and Keaton Gust each scored once.

Sting U9 girls: The Sting beat the Spokane Foxes Mayhem 7-0 on Friday night. Devyn Pirwitz started off the first half with a hat trick which was followed up by goals from Skye Sijan, Rachel Corrette, Hadley Green and Lucy Simpson.
The Sting beat the FC Spokane G06 Gold-Sackman 6-1 on Sunday morning. Sting goals were scored by Lucy Simpson, Hanna Sabrowski, Hadley Green and Skye Sijan.

Sting U8 Dynamo: The Sting beat FC Spokane 3-2 last Saturday.

Sting U11 girls: The Sting lost 4-3 to Spokane Shadow United on Saturday. Elise Frazier scored a goal with an assist from Becky Chester. Taleya Jones scored one goal, and Mia Bond scored one goal with an assist from Taleya Jones.
JUNIOR TACKLE

Fifth grade
Chargers 30, Packers 0: The Chargers offensive line led the way for 320 combined rushing and passing yards for Hudson Howard, Zach Johnson, Brodie Waddell, Kyle Bridge, Colton Simkins, Brodie Beebe, and Steven Burgess. Defensively, Varick Meredith, Ashton Phay, Cooper Rasmussen, Maddix Maciosek and Alex Green had a combined 16 tackles for negative yards for the Chargers.

Lakeland Hawks 20, Post Falls Bears 18: The game went back and forth until the winning extra point from Mitchell Zimmerman bounced off the upright and between the goalposts. Caysen Loutzenhiser had three touchdown passes to Thomas Calder. The Hawks offensive line helped Terrance Edwards, Chase Burcham, Cody Morse, and Mitchell produce key first down runs that kept many drives possible. Evan Eglund chipped in with an interception for Lakeland.
Sixth grade
Lakeland 43, Silver Valley Storm 6: Mason Burcham threw three touchdown passes and ran for another for Lakeland. Zac Yetter scored four times and Skyler Huber caught a 25-yard touchdown pass for Lakeland. Tommy Pearson recorded a safety for the defense as Lakeland remained undefeated.
Eighth grade
Post Falls Trojan Orange 34, Coeur d’Alene Bucs 6: Post Falls won behind another strong performance by its defense which has given up three touchdowns in four games this year. Leading tacklers were Caleb Albert, Eli Gondo, Brennen Froehlich and Austin Schmidt. Grant Jones added a 95-yard interception return for a TD. Offensively, Justin Gies earned praise for a standout performance on the offensive line. Derek Pearse threw for 242 yards including TDs of 22, 68 and 21 yards. Jones had 123 yards receiving with 1 TD. Schmidt and Hunter Mills caught TD passes as well. The Trojan ground game was led by Pearse, with 102 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, and Schmidt, who added 31 yards. The win moves the Trojans to 3-0-1.
