Loper signs pro contract

for Luxembourg team

Former Post Falls High and Oregon standout Katelyn Loper signed an international professional contract with BC Musel Pikes in Luxembourg, Loper told the Daily Emerald, Oregon’s student newspaper, on Monday.

“It’s definitely a lifelong dream,” Loper said. “Just getting that contract in your hand and actually signing it, it’s all the hours and work you’ve put in. It comes down to that. I’m so thankful and happy. It’s a cloud nine kind of feeling.”

Loper averaged 9.2 points per game as a senior for the Ducks, making 50 of 156 3-point field goal attempts.
