PREP VOLLEYBALL: Vikings finish ninth at Sheridan Classic

SPOKANE — Ali Williams finished the day with 31 kills and 46 assists for the Coeur d’Alene Vikings, which finished ninth in the 61-team Sheridan Classic on Saturday.
Coeur d’Alene won its pool, then lost to Eisenhower in the quarterfinal round 25-20, 23-25, 18-16.
Missy Huddleston had 40 kills, 18 digs and five aces, Sydney Bybee 32 kills, 10 blocks and seven aces, Isabella Hollibaugh 35 assists, Maura Donovan 32 digs and Kelly Horning had nine blocks for Coeur d’Alene (16-4), which travels to Sandpoint on Tuesday.
Allison Munday had 37 kills and 26 digs for Post Falls, which finished 2-5 on the day, beating Bear Creek in two games and Rogers in three games.
Kayla Mayo had 60 assists and seven aces, Cassidy Jackson 10 blocks and Macky Morris 35 digs for Post Falls (13-13), which hosts Lake City in a 5A Inland Empire League match on Tuesday at The Arena.

Ilysa Emerson had 10 kills and three blocks for the Royals in a 25-20, 25-14, 25-20 Mountain Christian League win against Christian Heritage on Saturday in Edwall, Wash.
Rayla Andrews had eight kills and six digs for North Idaho Christian (4-7, 3-2 MCL) against Christian Heritage.
Angelica Scribner had four aces on 100 percent serving. Katelyn Stegman finished with 24 assists.
