Nancy Collar, 65

Our Lord welcomed Nancy home from the Hospice House on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2015, after losing a four-month battle with cancer. She was born to Rosa and William Burgess on Nov. 5, 1950, in Belle Prairie, Ill.

Her family found their way to California where she lived until 2015. She and her husband moved to Coeur d’Alene on April 1, 2015, and finally settled in her dream home two months later at the end of May.

She is survived by Dennis, her husband of 36 years; her mother, Rosa Swingley; her brother, Joe; sisters Marylyn, Bonnie, June and Alice; her son, Jeff; her stepdaughters, April and Dawn; her son-in-law, Jason Unsell; her granddaughters, Kylie, Brook and Maria, and Kylie Unsell; her grandsons, Tomas, Dominic, David and Cody; plus MANY nieces and nephews; and lots of close friends.

Nancy loved her family, bunnies and life. She will be missed and we are all lucky to have been part of her to shortened life.

Nancy’s service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Yates Funeral Home, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, with a gathering of friends and family in the same building after the chapel portion. Pastor Greg Turbin will officiate with prayers and friendship.
