STORM: Saw a lot of courtesy

| November 22, 2015 8:00 PM

My husband and I would like to second your editorial in the Friday morning Press! Both of us have some difficulty walking, and Tuesday afternoon, as the storm was really winding up, my husband was literally blown over in the parking lot at the Ironwood Professional Plaza. We would like to express our many thanks to the two anonymous Good Samaritans who came to help within seconds, and helped us both to the car!

As we reached Ironwood Drive to turn right, a driver stopped to let us into the-bumper-to-bumper line of traffic. (Fortunately, I was able to “pay it forward” a couple blocks away.) I was so pleased to watch the courtesy and caution of all the motorists as everyone treated the dark traffic signals as 4-way stops — only saw one impatient person in the three and a half mile drive home.

And thanks to our neighbor who saw us drive in and came with her flashlight to help us to the front door.

Well done, Coeur d’Alene!
