Education

Jessica Scott, daughter of Tom and Gaylene Scott of Post Falls, is this year’s recipient of the El Min Scholarship from Coeur d’Alene Community United Methodist Church. The El Min Scholarship Endowment was established in 1985 in memory of retired Methodist minister, Rev. Elmer West and his wife, Minnie.

Jessica is a 2015 graduate of Gonzaga Prep, and now attends North Idaho College, majoring in criminal justice. She is on the NIC women’s soccer team.

As a lifelong member of Community United Methodist Church, Jessica has participated in youth group, Sunday school, volunteered with vacation Bible school and Idaho Mission Projects.

Military

Seamen Apprentice Dalton Sullivan graduated boot camp Nov. 13, 2015, at Great Lakes, Ill. Dalton is a 2015 Lakeland High School graduate. He is the son of Brad and Becky Sullivan. Brother to Logan Sullivan. Dalton will be studying electrical engineering.
