ELECTION: Where were you?

I’ve hesitated writing this for a while because I don’t want to irritate people or cause bad feelings, or anger. But, what were you doing Nov. 3 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.?
That was voting day and less than 10 percent of people in Post Falls turned out to vote. Why? What excuse is good enough to not vote?
We have liberty and the right to vote, and we have a voice in what and who serves in our town. I’m not unhappy about who was elected; I’m just concerned about the ones who don’t take the time — 15 minutes, max — to vote.
Think about it and please, next time you have the opportunity to vote, PLEASE DO IT!
