PREP ROUNDUP: Aftermath of windstorm still affecting games

Thursday’s nonleague girls basketball game between Coeur d’Alene and Lakeland, scheduled for Rathdrum, was postponed due to a lack of power at Lakeland High.

It will be made up as part of a doubleheader with the boys varsity game on Jan. 19.

Kootenai at Priest River was also postponed, with no makeup date announced.

In addition, a boys basketball jamboree scheduled for Saturday at Lakeside High was postponed due to a lack of power, and will not be made up.

BONNERS FERRY — Kadi Bateman scored 16 points to lead the Badgers past the Timberwolves junior varsity in the season opener for both schools.

Chloe Teets scored 13 points for the Lake City JV, which visits Sandpoint tonight.

Bonners Ferry hosts St. Maries tonight.
