SCHOOLS: Don't let them teach civics

Regarding the Editorial in Sunday’s paper about voter apathy: How about leaving that responsibility to the home, or parents, or friends. Giving more authority to the schools is just giving them more influence into the voting bias of the teacher. Our institutions of learning are already exercising their personal ideas on our young. It’s no secret that the colleges and universities are liberal think tanks. To make them the authority on voting habits is just more power in their direction. Maybe there’s another suggestion? I reject this one!
