PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Winds wreak havoc with games

Tuesday’s nonleague opener between the Timberlake Tigers and Moscow Bears at Bear Den in Moscow was in the first quarter when a power outage forced the cancellation of the game.

No makeup date has been announced.

Nonleague games betweeen Sandpoint at Post Falls, as well as Coeur d’Alene Charter at Kellogg, were postponed due to hazerdous wind and road conditions on Tuesday. Both have been rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.

A nonleague game between Lakeside and North Idaho Christian, scheduled for Holy Family Catholic School in Coeur d’Alene, was also called off with no makeup date announced.

KELLOGG — Shaye Schreibeis scored 21 points to lead the Jaguars past the Wildcats junior varsity at Andrews Gymnasium.

Genesis Prep (2-1) will face North Idaho Christian next Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic School.
