EWU-Seattle U men’s hoops

game postponed by high winds

CHENEY — A wind storm in the Inland Northwest caused the postponement of Tuesday night’s Eastern Washington-Seattle men’s basketball game at Reese Court.

The game has been rescheduled for today at 12:30 p.m.

Sustained winds of 40 miles per hour caused several road closures and other dangerous situations. The Redhawks remained at a hotel in Spokane instead of making the trek to Cheney.

Ticket holders unable to use their tickets today will have their tickets honored at the door for any future game.

Marks named semifinalist

for Biletnikoff Award

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Washington State junior wide receiver Gabe Marks was named as one of 10 2015 Biletnikoff Award semifinalists, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Tuesday.

The Biletnikoff Award has opened its online FanVote for voting for Biletnikoff Award candidates on the Biletnikoff Award website. Every fan may vote once daily on the Biletnikoff Award FanVote page.
