The historic Jewett House in Coeur d'Alene is among the many structures damaged by last night's storm.
Reader James Fillmore sent in these photos taken this morning of the building located near Sanders Beach.
The home, built in 1917 by Rutledge Timber Company, was granted to the city of Coeur d'Alene in 1978 by Potlatch Forest Company. Today, the historic structure serves as a senior citizens recreation center.
City parks and recreation director Steve Anthony said the Jewett house will indefinitely closed until repairs can be made.
