NIC basketball: Cards rally in second half

YUMA, Ariz. — Trailing by three points at halftime, North Idaho College outscored Eastern Arizona by 24 points in the second half en route to a 91-70 victory over the Gila Monsters on Friday, in the second of three games in three days at Arizona Western College.

Braian Angola Rodas had 22 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for NIC (3-0), which trailed 38-35 at halftime. Brayon Blake added 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Kaleb Warner hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points, Kyle Guice chipped in 13 points and eight boards, and Lucas Antunez had 10 points and six assists.

Malik Sanchez had 20 points and nine rebounds for Eastern Arizona.

NIC plays host Arizona Western tonight at 7 PST.
