Police agencies seek to apprehend Baker

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of John Henry Baker.

Baker is being sought based on Kootenai County felony warrants charging Baker with burglary, grand theft and criminal possession of a financial transaction card. This is a $25,000 bond warrant with western United States extradition.

Baker, 33, is a 6-foot-3, 240-pound white male with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last known to be living in Spirit Lake.

The violent crimes task force — consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, Idaho Department of Corrections and Bonner County Sheriff’s Office — is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape / sexual assault, felonious assault, arson and drug trafficking.
