Jeremy Vance Alexander, 41
Jeremy Vance Alexander passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on Oct. 31, 2015, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he had lived for the past year.
He was dearly loved by his wife, Sarah (Lehti) and his young daughter, Riana; as well as by his parents, Terri and Ken Alexander, Tanya Koff; his nephews; Zachary, Max and Wyatt; and his niece, Maya. His in-laws, Stan and Linda Lehti and brother and sister in-law Matt and Tricia Lehti; as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family, countless friends, associates and others will miss him greatly.
Born in Cottonwood, Ariz., on Sept. 29, 1974, he spent much of his life in and around the Williams, Ariz., area. Jeremy felt at home bumping along dirt roads, hiking the trails of the Grand Canyon, wading through Oak Creek, and staring into a northern Arizona starry sky. Many memories were made exploring the outdoors and camping with family and friends. All who knew him knew his infectious laugh and his reputation of being an “enthusiastic” Dallas Cowboys and UofA hoops fan.
He was passionate about his career in the newspaper industry, working over many years for newspapers in Phoenix, Flagstaff, and most recently in Coeur d’Alene. Jeremy believed strongly in the importance of community newspapers, and it showed in his devotion to his work.
Please join us in a celebration of Jeremy’s incredible life at noon Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Christ’s Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave., Flagstaff, AZ 86004. There will be a reception to follow the memorial, TBA.
