THANKS: From Dan's wife

It comes time to say ‘thanks,’

And it comes straight from Dan.

I am the poet,

But he is ‘The Man.’

He’ll work hard to bring

The best for our city.

He’s preparing to serve

While I write this ditty.

Some wrote endorsements,

Some knocked on doors,

Many of you voted,

Now the Councilman’s yours.

Thanks to Bruce and to Steve.

It takes plenty of nerve

To run, to debate,

And be willing to serve.

Our best days before us,

Press forward forever,

Great things to be done

As we all work together.

Again let me say

Thanks from Dan and from Cory

Now I’ve finally come

To the end of my story.
