Terre Doyle Mobbs, 60

| November 8, 2015 2:00 PM

Terre Doyle Mobbs has now returned to his heavenly home and joined his father Jake Mobbs. He is survived by his mother Leonora Mobbs of Hauser Lake, his three daughters, Shannon Mobbs, Jennifer Peters, Crystal Mobbs and 6 grandchildren of Post Falls.  He is also survived by his two brothers John (Betty) and Gary (Ramona) Mobbs of Hauser Lake.

Born in San Diego California April 1955 Terre discovered at a young age his love for horses. He showed horses for 8 years, enjoyed trail rides and continued that passion until his last days.  Terre graduated Monte Vista High School in 1972. That Summer Terre and his entire family moved to north Idaho.  Shortly after moving to Idaho he began auto racing.

Early on in his career he found his passion in radio and went to radio school.   He worked at KDRK for a time with his very district radio voice as the “Mobbster.”  Later on he started his own audio video installation business called A.V.I. in Tahoe which he called home for many years.  This continued to be his passion throughout his life.

Above all Terre loved his family. Working on the family farm to help out his mom filled his heart with joy.  Cooking big family meals for everyone, sharing time with his daughters, teaching his grandkids how things were done in “the old days” and reminiscing of all the pranks he pulled with his brothers are all the things he loved to do more than anything.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th at St. Stanislaus in Rathdrum at 1:00 by Pastor Timothy Ritchey. A reception will follow immediately at the church hall.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Heritage Health of Coeur d’ Alene.
